Wed 2nd March – Incredible day of encouragement – Renewed Relationships, an awesome conference and the joy of unity

Wow wow wow, what an incredible day! Having arrived in the early hours after a 10 hour plus journey, we began today with prayer and breakfast together, When Junior and Pastor Elisha walked in to greet us, it became clear that Pastor Peter and Pastor Elisha had know each other for some time and were delighted to have this opportunity to renew their relationship. It began raining heavily, which though slightly delayed our planned programme, gave us opprtunity to pray, share stories and encourage one another with how God has connected us all together to join in mission to share the gospel of Jesus ‘for such a time as this’. We arrived at the church and recieved yet another incredible welcome from all there. As we began the conference it was clear that there was a deep unity, which made room for the Holy Spirit to move in power. Neal, Anne Richard and Peter all shared the word powerfully with Juliet sharing a beautiful song and testimony, before going into workshops ministering to the Men, Women Youth and Children. A powerful time was had by all . It was clearly a very significant day as we ministered as team in the power of the Holy Spirit in unity together. Once we left the conference, Anne received the news from Alan that her precious Mum had been premoted to glory, dying peacefully in hospital. Anne’s Mum was so supportive of the ministry and though so so painful for Anne, it was clear throughout the evening that Anne was being comforted by the Holy Spirit and as we shared stories and drank tea together, it was clear that there was no place that we would rather be than in His will. Our time at Rukunjiri has taught us all so much and brought a deeper understanding of the person of the Holy Spirit. Surely once we encounter the Holy Spirit, we can never remain the same again

Awesome and humble Walubo Jude
